Before it happen, I was upgraded my Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8 Pro. In all folder (such as in "Garden" folder). And, If I browse for a sound in C:\Windows\Media, there are no sound files If I test the sound for a event, no sound heard. In the sound schemes setting (exactly in program events box, beside the list of events) some events show yellow exclamation mark. They appear in drop-down list. I choose the other sound schemes except "Windows Default" and there are no sound schemes The other sound schemes ("Afternoon","Cityscapes","Garden", etc.) except "Windows Default" are missing.
I have problem with sound schemes in personalization control panel.
